Tattoo artist reveals how rainbow cloud tattoos inspired her to become a tattoo artist
A tattoo artist who became an internet sensation after her tattoo was covered in rainbow clouds has revealed how she was inspired to make the images herself.
The tattoo artist, who goes by the name Rainbow Cloud, has worked as a tattoo parlor for more than 10 years and has received thousands of tattoos, many of them in her native Philippines.
Rainbow Cloud has had a series of tattoos covering her face, but none of them have featured her face.
“I have been doing this for a long time,” Rainbow Cloud told CNN.
“I wanted to get my tattoo in the cloud, but I had to work in a studio.
It took a long while to get a tattoo, so I thought it would be better if it was on a cloud.
I am happy to say that I made the first tattoo that was in the clouds.”‘
Rainbow clouds’ and ‘Rainbow’ in tattoo parlour nameThe tattoo parlaours tattoo artists have had to endure a few controversies, and the first was when they were forced to stop using their name in their parlours’ advertising because the term “cloud” did not match the image of a cloud on the back of their tattoo.
Rainbow’s tattoo was removed and replaced with the words “Rainbow Cloud”.
“I was thinking that we are not going to get the ‘cloud’ tattoo anymore, so that we can just say ‘cloud tattoo’ and keep the name,” Rainbow said.
“The tattoo was taken down and replaced by ‘rainbow cloud tattoo’,” she said.
“We have had other issues too, like when we tried to get tattoos in English, and people would get the wrong tattoos in their English version.
But people have been very kind and have been so patient with us.”
The tattoo artists, who have worked in the Philippines for about 10 years, said they have had requests for tattoo in different languages, such as Hindi, Portuguese and Japanese.
“The reason I am doing this is because I am not a native English speaker, so if someone is a beginner and needs help, they can ask me to tattoo them,” Rainbow added.
“People have asked me to make a rainbow cloud tattoo for my family members or friends, and I am glad to oblige them.
I hope that people will learn about me from my tattoos and appreciate what I do.”
