How Google Cloud Foundry has made cloud gaming ‘the norm’
Cloud gaming is now the norm for Google.
Google CloudFoundry has been the cloud gaming leader for more than a decade, and has recently added new cloud gaming platforms to its portfolio, including the Google Cloud Storage platform and the Cloud Gaming platform.
But this is a huge milestone for the company, which is now taking the wraps off of Google Cloud Games, the cloud-based game engine it developed for the Google Play store.
“We’re now a big part of cloud gaming and we’re a major player in it,” said Dan O’Brien, director of business development for Google CloudGames, in a phone interview with TechCrunch.

“The biggest challenge for us is that people have a lot of different devices,” O’Reilly said.
“When you add new games, there are games you can play on different devices, but you can’t play on all of them.
And this is really one of the biggest hurdles.”
That’s because there are multiple cloud gaming servers running on Google’s infrastructure, which means there’s no single solution for all of the games users want to play.
“It’s a little bit like trying to build your own server and that’s just a lot harder,” O-Reilly said, adding that there is an example of this happening with the Google Drive game service.
“So we have a great example of a very popular, very popular game that we built that works well on the Google Storage platform, but when you add a new game that uses the Google Games API to access the game, it’s not working.”
Cloud gaming on Google cloud storage means a lot to Google’s developers.
It means developers can play games on Google Cloud and on their own servers.
But they can’t use the Google APIs, and that limits the number of games they can run on Google Play.
“I don’t know of any other company that has the ability to run these games on the cloud and also get the same performance on those servers,” OBrien said.

It allows developers and game makers to run their games on a server that’s not connected to Google Play, but it also enables them to run the same games on different cloud gaming services.

“Now that you’ve got a Google Game Engine on a device, you can run those games on your own devices, and they’re not tied to Google.
So it’s much more efficient for the developers to just use that to create a new app for the cloud,” OBS said.
In the same way, it allows developers the ability do things other than create a game for Google Play or to run an application on Google Games.
It also makes it possible to share game servers with other developers, but not run their apps on Google services.
OBS described the Cloud Foundriks game engine as “the most powerful engine for game creation” that he’s seen in his career.
“You can create games for your device, run it on your machine, and the game will run on any of the cloud services, not just Google.
“In terms of a developer, it just allows them to create their own game at any of those services, so that they can start building their own games on any service.” “

O’Connor said that the big gaming companies are also now using the CloudFoundries technology to develop new game engines for their own apps.
For instance, Amazon recently released a game engine, CloudPlay, that can run across all of Amazon’s existing games, including its games for mobile, tablet and game consoles.
And Microsoft is also adding CloudPlay support to the Xbox game console.
“There are a lot more apps out there, and we are going to continue to add more of them to the platform,” Obrary said.
